I have super thick hair, as in probably 3x as much hair on my head as everyone I know. Yes, that much and it's course too...ugh! Every hairband I've used typically lasts about a week before stretching out beyond use and or breaking. I need a good holding hairband when I workout. With most bands I have to use two in order to get a good enough hold that doesn't sag through a full workout. Enter these hairbands...where have they been all my life?! These things are invincible. I can twist them 3 times and they hold through the entire workout without any movement. They don't leave huge dents in my hair. Best of all, they don't hurt or pull any of my hair out! My only complaint is the light brown/blonde color bands aren't really a "natural" blonde hair color (not that I have a clue what my natural hair color even is...LOL. Not really a big deal because they come in a package of 100 with a assortment of colors! Plenty to share with friends or you'll have enough to put in your will to pass along to your heirs when you die because I don't think I'll burn through 100 in a lifetime! If you have thick hair, don't even think twice about putting these in your cart.These are amazing! They hold my hair fine and all. Plus it is a big deal as I do have a lot of hair. The amazing part is our crackhead cat that wants attention 24/7 loves to play with them. I can fling them across the house, and it will land in some strange spot. The cat, Abu, will dart after it and locate it like a dog would. Then he wants more. Next thing I know, he is hunting them from my personal stash to play with when he plays alone?, and now I have no more ponytails that haven't been claimed buy the house thief. And yes his name is Abu for his sneaky ability to steal from a very young age. Now I have to buy another package, and I am fairly certain they will get stolen as well. Blue ones first. He likes the blue ones. These should be marketed as cat toys as well as hair accessories.Just as a background... I have a 7 year old daughter that has very long hair. These do not have that typical bad that looks super glues. It is a soft cloth all the way around. I lose hair ties all the time and a bunch come in the pack. I will probably have to reorder in a few months but am going to stick with this particular brand. It comes out our your hair easily without doing the ouch face. I cannot stress enough how it is worth the money!!!As much as it irks me that the description says these are “black hair ties for women,” I have to admit that I absolutely love these. I’m not a woman, but I have very long hair and was frustrated with my CVS hair bands when a friend recommended these. My old elastic ones used to stretch or break all the time, only lasting maybe a couple of weeks. I tried these and now swear by them. In fact, the reason I decided to write a review was because I have sooooo many left I’ve started giving them to my friends, and just looked up my purchase history to share with someone. It’s been almost a year and a half at this point and I’m still using the first ten or so. I haven’t had a single one break. Not one. Over time (weeks — not days), they will stretch, but all I have to do is add an extra loop and it’s all fine. One got a little stinky after a particularly sweaty day outside, so I threw it in the wash and it came out like new. I have a feeling that it would take a lifetime for me to go through all 100 of these!On a side note, I’ve also shared some with my daughter-in-law, who is African American and has very thick hair, and they work great for her too.I’m busy, so I don’t write reviews unless I really love or hate the product — but these definitely deserve a review. I (and now lots of my friends and family) absolutely love them!And no, they aren’t just for women. I wish we could do away with that kind of dumb gendering language. Regardless, my non-female hair is very happy that I found these. ;)I have waist length hair and my daughter has curly hair and where her hair would normally be tangled and wrapped around most hair ties, these are the opposite. Of course, her hair still tangles from just being a kid, but it’s very easy to get them out of the hair at the end of the day. I’ve lost less hair, myself, from when I take them out at the end of the day. I highly suggest these!My hair stylist told me that the regular hairties I was using was causing breakage in my hair and she showed me the kind I'd need. Shes howed me a brand name option she gets from Target, but I wanted to see if there were similar options out there and low and behold there was! These are great and you know you never can have enough hairties. These haven't broken on me yet and I've been able to share the wealth with my friends/family. They're also pretty soft and stretchy. I'd definitely buy another pack once and if I ever need them.I'm a balding guy with a crew cut and no personal use for these. But my cats...I can slingshot these little suckers rubber-band like down the hallway to unending feline delight, or leave them on the floor waiting to be discovered for those vigorous 2AM games of kitty soccer. There are so many in a pack that I have to recover them from under the couch only every six months or so!I have the most thick, curly, crazy hair and need super big strong, or else wrap it 100x’s to hold…hair ties. I live w people who need the opposite. These work for both. Well! Like really well To be honest. Mad cheap for like 1,000 of em ??♀️ I’m all in! These things are Awesome!The product is awesome, quality is great ? but received only 98 bands when it clearly states that 100PCS.Would recommend these hair ties to everyone.
