The pins themselves were a little tricky getting in/out of hair. We ended up using bobby pins to keep the hair in place and then just slipping these pins behind without them holding any hair.But I loved the look and got loads of compliments, so I'd say it was worth it :)Gorgeous hair pins, very sturdy.
