I wore my hair half up with this comb. I have pretty fine slippery hair and with just a bit of hairspray for grip this held just fine. It wasn't too heavy at all. It has a nice angle to it so that it sits nicely against the back of the head. Picture included to show the size of it on the head. It comes with a little dust bag and a few extra stones in case some fall out. The only thing was that I was expecting a darker color for the blue stones based on the pictures. All in all I absolutely loved this comb.It's very pretty! I wore it as my something blue during my wedding. Just know that it's heavy, so you have to make sure it's securely in your hair. I got lots of compliments on it.I've actually had this in my saved list for 2 years hmming and hawing over whether or not I wanted this for my wedding hairpiece. I'm still not 100 percent sure, but it's lovely. The comb is metal, solid and sturdy. It also came with a velvet bag, a box, and a few small rhinestones in case they fall apart.This piece was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted for my wedding day.
